John Frusciante - Shadows Collide With People

Going nowhere’s the only clear shot / at being somewhere the fates think you’re not

Frusciante’s crowning achievement to date. Forget what you know about Red Hot Chili Peppers, Shadows Collide With People and the rest of John Frusciante’s solo work is a very different animal. Experimental and totally untethered by contractual and commercial responsibilities, his vision is something that I personally find far more fascinating than the Peppers as a group. If you’re not acquainted with this man’s work, this is the best place to start. Listen for yourself.
